Our Sailing area around the Solent

The Solent and Isle of Wight are one of the premier yachting and cruising areas in the world and have many beautiful locations with a multiplicity of harbours, marinas, rivers, creeks and beaches to explore, including Cowes, Yarmouth, Lymington, Beaulieu River, Newtown Creek, Hamble River and Portsmouth Harbour.

The tidal waters of the Solent area are ideal area to start yachting and learn to sail for both novice and advanced students alike, offering as it does not only sheltered waters but every conceivable light, buoy, or situation that you are ever likely to encounter as you progress through the RYA sail training programme.

During your five days with us, we would hope to venture further afield to explore either Poole or Chichester Harbours as well.
