RYA Shorebased Theory Courses

We run RYA theory courses in Cheddar, Bristol, Birmingham and London. All venues are equipped with the latest audio-visual aids and computers to provide a high quality training environment which together with our patient and experienced instructors; we are committed to ensuring that everybody achieves their full potential in a friendly environment.

By limiting our class sizes we seek to maximise your involvement in all aspects of the course, and use slides, instructional videos and friendly open discussion as key learning aids.

Our theory courses are either run over 5 days or 3 weekends. For groups of more than 4, we will offer either a fifth place free or alternatively come to a venue of your choice.

The 5 day intensive courses are run from Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700 and students will be required to do a modest amount of homework each evening.
